My country is Pakistan. It is my homeland, and I love it very much. Pakistan is a beautiful country in South Asia. It shares borders with India, China, Afghanistan, and Iran. The capital of Pakistan is Islamabad. Karachi is the largest city, and Lahore is famous for its culture and food. Our national language is Urdu, but people speak many languages like Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, and Balochi. The national flag of Pakistan is green and white. It has a white crescent and a star on the green part. We got our independence on the 14th of August 1947. On this day we remember our great leaders and freedom fighters. Pakistan has high mountains in the north, like K-2, which is the second highest peak in the world. The river Indus runs through our land. Most of our people are farmers. They grow wheat, rice, and cotton. I love my country, and I am proud to be a Pakistani.
