My English Teacher Paragraph

My English teacher is Mr. Kabir Hossain, and he is one of the best teachers in our school. He is a tall, cheerful man of about forty, and he always comes to class in a neat white shirt. He knows his subject thoroughly and teaches us English with great care and patience. He never shouts at us or makes fun of our mistakes; instead, he explains the difficult rules of grammar in simple language and encourages us to speak in English without fear. He corrects our writings regularly and praises us when we do well. He is also very friendly and helps the weak students during the break. Because of his teaching, English, which once seemed difficult, has become one of my favourite subjects. I respect and love my English teacher very much.

Of all the teachers of our school, my English teacher, Mr. Kabir Hossain, is the one I admire the most, and I consider myself lucky to have him as my teacher. He is a middle-aged man with a smiling face, a gentle voice, and an extraordinary command of the English language, and he has the rare gift of making a difficult subject appear easy and interesting. He does not follow the textbook mechanically; he teaches us grammar through examples from daily life, makes us practise speaking in English in pairs, and tells us interesting stories about the history of words, so that the class is never dull. He is extremely patient with weak students: he never humiliates a student for a wrong answer, but says “Try again” with a smile, and because of his kindness we are not afraid of making mistakes. He pays special attention to our writings, correcting our essays and letters carefully and explaining every mistake so that we do not repeat it. Outside the classroom he is a friend to us — he helps us prepare for competitions, advises us about our studies, and listens to our problems with sympathy. He is also a disciplined man who never misses a class and expects the same discipline from us. Under his guidance my fear of English has completely disappeared, my vocabulary has grown, and my dream of speaking English fluently has become stronger. I believe that a teacher like Mr. Kabir Hossain is a real blessing to the students.
