Short Paragraph on My House

My house is a sweet home, and I love it very much. It is a two-storeyed building in a quiet lane of our town. It is made of bricks, and its walls are painted light yellow. There are four rooms in my house: a bedroom, a dining room, a drawing room and a study room. There is also a small kitchen and a bathroom. In front of the house there is a small garden full of rose and marigold flowers. My father, mother, sister and I live in this house together. My bedroom is on the upper floor, and from its window I can see the green field and the trees. The drawing room is neat and clean, and we receive our guests there. My mother keeps the whole house neat and beautiful. There is electricity, water and a television in our house. In the evening we all sit in the drawing room and talk. My house protects us from heat, cold and rain, and it gives us peace and security. East or west, home is the best, and I feel proud of my sweet house.

From the window of this room I can see the green fields and the trees, and I feel fresh while studying. My house gives us shelter from the heat of summer, the cold of winter and the rain of the monsoon. We celebrate every festival in this house, and every room of it is full of sweet memories. My mother keeps every corner of the house neat and tidy, and our guests always praise the beauty of our home. I believe that a house becomes a home only when love lives in it, and my house is full of love. I am proud of my house, and I will always keep it clean and beautiful.
