The internet, another wonder of science, brings the whole world into our hands. We can send messages, watch videos and learn new things within seconds. Science has also given us the bus, the train, the car and the aeroplane, which carry us quickly from one place to another. In the field of medicine, science has saved countless lives. Doctors can now cure many diseases with modern medicines, and machines like the X-ray help them see inside the body. Science has also given us the computer, which does difficult calculations in a moment. In fact, our modern life is completely dependent on science, and it has made our life easy, comfortable and happy.

The wonders of science are the remarkable gifts that science has given to human civilization, and they have completely changed the way we live. In the past, people lived in dark huts, travelled on foot or by bullock cart and depended on nature for everything. Today, thanks to science, our life has become easy, comfortable and enjoyable. Vaccines have wiped out deadly diseases like smallpox, and modern medicines, operations and machines like the X-ray, the ECG and the ultrasound machine save millions of lives every year. The computer and robotics have made work faster and easier, and space science has taken human beings to the moon and beyond. Agriculture has also benefited greatly, because science has given us better seeds, better fertilizers and better methods of farming, which produce more food for the growing population. However, we must remember that science is a good servant but a bad master. The same science that gives us the aeroplane and the television has also given us the atom bomb, which can destroy the whole world. Therefore, we should use the wonders of science for the welfare of humanity, not for destruction. If science is used wisely, it will continue to make our life more beautiful, healthy and happy.
