Short Paragraph on My Daily Routine

I try to follow a fixed daily routine because it keeps my life regular and peaceful. I get up at six in the morning and brush my teeth. Then I wash my face and go out for a walk in the fresh air. After coming back home I say my prayers and take my breakfast. I start studying at eight o’clock and do my homework carefully. At ten I take my bath and get ready for school. I go to school at half past ten and attend my classes till four in the afternoon. When I come back, I take some rest for a while. In the evening I go out to play with my friends in the field. After that I sit down to study again and revise the lessons I learnt at school. I have my dinner at nine and go to bed at ten. My daily routine helps me to finish all my work in time and leaves me time for play and rest.

A daily routine is a fixed plan of work for a whole day. A man without a routine wastes his time and can never do anything great. So I have made a routine and I try to follow it strictly. My daily routine begins early in the morning. I get up from bed at five o’clock, because the morning air is pure and fresh. After saying my prayers I go out for a walk. When I return home I wash my face and take my breakfast. Then I sit down at my reading table and revise my lessons of the previous day. I take my bath at nine o’clock and finish my breakfast. I go to school in time and attend my classes with full attention. I never talk or make noise in the class. I return home at four in the afternoon and take some rest. In the evening I go to the playground and play games with my friends, which keeps my body fit. I come back at six and sit down to study for two hours. I revise what I have learnt at school and prepare my homework for the next day. I watch the news for a short time and help my parents in small household works. I take my dinner at nine o’clock and go to bed at ten. I have been following this routine for a long time, and it has taught me the value of time. I believe that a simple routine followed regularly can turn a lazy boy into a successful student, because punctuality is the key to success in life.
