My Neighborhood Paragraph

The place where I live with my family is called my neighbourhood. My neighbourhood is a small but peaceful area near the main road. There are about fifty houses in my neighbourhood. The streets are clean and lined with shady trees. In the morning the sun rises over the houses, and the birds sing in the trees. There are a few shops in my neighbourhood, such as a grocery store, a pharmacy, and a tea stall. My neighbours are very friendly. They greet each other with a smile and help one another in times of need. Children of my neighbourhood play together in the open field every evening. We play football, cricket, and badminton there. On festival days my neighbourhood looks very happy, and everyone shares sweets with everyone. There is also a small park where old people sit and talk in the afternoon. I feel very safe and happy in my neighbourhood because it is full of good people.

My neighbourhood is the small area around my house where I live with my parents and neighbours. It is a clean, green, and friendly place, and I love it very much. My neighbourhood has about sixty houses on both sides of a wide road. Some houses are made of brick, and some are small tin-shed houses. The road is paved, and there are street lamps that glow at night. A few big trees stand along the road, and in summer their shade gives relief to passers-by. My neighbourhood has everything we need. There is a grocery shop where we buy rice, oil, and daily goods, a pharmacy for medicine, and a tea stall where the old men of the area sit and gossip. There is also a small mosque where people pray five times a day, and every Friday the whole area sounds with the azan.

The best thing about my neighbourhood is its people. My neighbours are simple and kind. If anyone falls sick, others visit him with fruits and flowers. If a family is in trouble, everyone stands beside them. The children of my neighbourhood play cricket and football in the open field every evening, and the elders watch them with joy. On Eid days the whole neighbourhood is decorated, and everyone exchanges sweets and good wishes. My neighbourhood is also safe. We know each other, so no stranger can enter without notice. Sometimes heavy rain floods our streets, and the drainage is not good. Still, the good things are more than the bad. I am proud of my neighbourhood, and I want to live here all my life.
