10 Lines on Picnic for Class 2

A picnic is a day of fun when we go out of the house to play and eat. Last Sunday I went on a picnic with my mother, father, and my little sister. We went to a big park near the river. The sun was bright, and the sky was blue. My mother packed rice, curry, boiled eggs, and sweet mangoes in a basket. When we reached the park, we spread a big sheet on the green grass. We sat on the sheet and ate our food together. After eating, my father played ball with us. My sister and I ran around the trees and laughed a lot. We saw birds flying and flowers blooming in the garden. We took many photos. In the evening we came back home. I was tired but very happy. I love picnics very much, and I want to go on another picnic soon.
