Short Paragraph on My Idol

My idol is my mother. She is the person I love and respect the most in this world. She wakes up early in the morning and starts her daily work. She cooks food for all of us, keeps the house clean, and helps me with my studies. My mother is very kind and honest. She never speaks ill of anyone. She helps our poor neighbours whenever they need anything. She works hard all day but never complains. When I fall sick, she stays beside me all night and takes care of me. She teaches me to tell the truth and to help others. She always tells me to work hard at school and to respect my teachers. I want to grow up and become a good person like her. My mother is my true idol, and I am proud of her.

An idol is a person whom we love, respect, and try to copy. Everyone has some idol in life. Some people admire film stars, some admire great players, and some admire great leaders. My idol is my mother. She is the heart of our family and the best person I have ever seen. My mother gets up before sunrise. She finishes her morning work and then cooks breakfast for all of us. After that she cleans the house, washes clothes, and still finds time to help me with my homework. Her hands are always busy, but her face always carries a gentle smile.

My mother is not only hardworking but also very kind. She feeds the poor people who come to our door and gives old clothes to the needy. She never quarrels with anyone. When there is a problem in the neighbourhood, everybody comes to her for advice. My mother is also very patient. I have a younger sister, and my mother teaches both of us with great care. She never raises her voice even when we make mistakes. She explains what is right and what is wrong. My mother has taught me many good lessons. She says that honesty is the best policy and that we should always help others. Because of her, I want to be a better student and a better human being. I try to follow her good habits every day. To me my mother is more than an idol. She is my best teacher, my best friend, and my guardian angel.
