My First Day at School Paragraph

I still remember my first day at school very clearly. I was six years old when my mother took me to school for the first time. I was excited, but I was also a little afraid because I had never been to a school before.

The school was a big red building with a green field in front. There were many boys and girls in the yard. They were talking, laughing and running here and there. My mother took me to the head teacher, who was a gentle lady. She asked my name and then led me to my classroom.

The classroom was bright and clean. There were small desks and chairs for the little students. The class teacher was very kind. She gave me a seat near the window and told me the names of my new friends. When I made mistakes in reading, she corrected me with a smile.

At the end of the day, I did not want to leave the school. I had made many friends and my fear was gone. When I reached home, I told my mother everything. That day taught me that school is a happy place. Even today, the memory of my first day at school fills my heart with joy.

The first day at school is one of the sweetest memories of a student’s life. It is the day when a child steps into the world of knowledge for the first time. I can still remember every small detail of my first day at school, though many years have passed.

It was a sunny morning in the month of January. I was six years old, and my mother was getting me ready for school. I had a new uniform, a new bag and a pair of shining shoes. My mother had told me many stories about school, so I was both curious and nervous. When we reached the school gate, I held my mother’s hand tightly. The school was a big building, and the noise of many children made me a little afraid.

My mother took me to the headmaster’s office. The headmaster was a tall and kind man. He smiled at me and asked my name. Then he called a teacher and told her to take me to my classroom. The teacher was very friendly. She took my hand and walked with me to the class.

The classroom was full of small boys and girls. The teacher gave me a seat in the first row. She taught us the alphabet and asked us to write the letters in our copybooks. I was very happy when I could write my name for the first time. During the break, the other children came to me and asked my name. Soon we became friends. They shared their snacks with me, and we played in the school yard.

At noon, my mother came to take me home. I was sad because I wanted to stay a little longer. On the way home, I talked about my teacher, my friends and my classroom without stopping. My mother listened and smiled.

That first day changed my life. It taught me that school is not a place to fear but a place of love, friendship and learning. I started to love my school from that very day. Even now, whenever I remember my first day at school, a warm smile comes to my face. It is truly a golden day of my life.
