Paragraph on My City

My city is the place where I was born and brought up. It is a busy and crowded city with many roads, houses, shops, and offices. The city has some beautiful buildings, parks, and markets. Every morning the city wakes up early, and the streets become full of buses, rickshaws, and cars. Many people come here from villages to work and study. My city has good schools, colleges, hospitals, and banks, so we get many facilities here. The market is always busy, and we can buy almost anything we need. In the evening, the lights of the city look very beautiful. However, city life has some problems too. There is too much traffic, noise, and air pollution. Houses are crowded, and space for play is small. Still, I love my city very much because all my friends and relatives live here. I know every road and shop of this city. My city gives me shelter, education, and many happy memories, and I am proud of it.

My city is the place where I live, study, and spend most of my days. It is a busy town full of movement, sound, and colour. Though cities are different from one another, every city has its own charm, and my city is very dear to me because all my memories are connected with it. My city has many modern facilities. There are good schools and colleges where students get a proper education. There are hospitals for treatment, banks for money, and markets where we can buy clothes, food, and other daily needs. The roads are wide, and buses, cars, and rickshaws move through them from morning till night. Tall buildings stand on both sides of the roads, and the city wears a different look after sunset when the lamps and signboards are switched on. The people of my city are hardworking and helpful. Some work in offices, some run shops, and others earn their living as drivers, workers, or traders. Students from nearby villages come to the city for a better education, and people of different occupations live here side by side. Festivals are celebrated with great joy, and during religious programmes the whole city becomes festive. But city life is not free from problems. The traffic jam is a great trouble, and people often lose hours sitting in crowded streets. The air is polluted by smoke of vehicles, and noise from horns disturbs us day and night. The cost of living is high, houses are crowded, and there is little space for children to play in the open air. Sometimes the heat of summer becomes unbearable because of tall buildings and concrete roads. Despite all these problems, my love for my city has not lessened. It has given me shelter, education, and friends, and it teaches me new things every day. My city is my identity, and I hope it will become cleaner, greener, and more beautiful in the future. This is why I always say that my city is the best place in the world for me.
