Short Paragraph on a Journey by Bus

A journey by bus is a very common but enjoyable journey for the people of our country. I made such a journey last month from Dhaka to my village home. It was the day of my school vacation. I reached the bus stand with my father early in the morning. The bus stand was full of passengers. When the bus arrived, there was a great rush, and the passengers pushed one another to get in. Somehow I managed to get a seat by the window. The bus started with a loud horn. It ran through the busy streets of Dhaka and then came to the open fields. I enjoyed the green fields, the rows of trees, and the villages passing by the window. The wind was blowing in my face, and the journey was very pleasant. The bus stopped at a few stations, and more passengers got on. Some people sold tea and bananas at the stations. After three hours, we reached my village. I thanked the bus driver for a safe journey and got down. The journey by bus was full of fun, and I will always remember it.

The bus started with a jerk and moved slowly through the traffic of the city. Once it left the city behind, it ran at full speed along the highway. I looked out of the window and enjoyed the beautiful scenes of the countryside. The green fields, the villages with their bamboo houses, the ponds with white ducks, and the rows of trees on both sides of the road made the journey charming. The cool morning breeze blew on my face, and the fields looked like a green carpet under the blue sky. At a small station, the bus stopped for a while, and the passengers bought tea, bananas, and biscuits from the roadside shops. Some travellers talked and laughed, and others slept in their seats. After three hours, our bus reached the town near my village, and I got down, feeling fresh and happy. The journey by bus taught me a lot about the busy life of our people. Though the bus was crowded and the road was bumpy, the journey was full of joy, and I look forward to the next journey by bus.
