My Village Paragraph

My village is named Shantipur. It is a small and beautiful village on the bank of the river Padma. The village is full of green trees, fields, and ponds. The air of my village is fresh and pure. Most of the people of my village are farmers. They grow paddy, jute, and vegetables in the fields. The farmers work hard from morning to evening, and their golden fields give the village its food. There are about two hundred houses in my village. The houses are made of mud and tin, with clean yards in front. There is a primary school, a small market, and a mosque in my village. The villagers are very kind and friendly. They help one another in times of need. In the morning, the birds sing, and in the evening, the farmers come back home tired but happy. The children play in the fields and swim in the river. My village is not rich, but it is rich in peace and happiness. Though I live in town for my studies, my heart always remains in my village, and I love my village very much.

I was born in a beautiful village named Shantipur, which lies on the bank of the river Padma in the district of Rajshahi. My village is a picture of natural beauty. Green paddy fields stretch as far as the eye can see, rows of mango and jackfruit trees stand along the roads, and the river flows quietly beside the village, giving water to the fields and joy to the children. The air is fresh and pure, and the whole village wakes up with the songs of birds. The people of my village are simple and honest. Most of them are farmers who work hard in the fields and depend on the mercy of nature. They are very helpful; when a man falls sick or a family faces trouble, the whole village stands by them. There is a one-storey school building, a village market, a mosque, and a small health centre in our village. The market sits on the bank of the river, and every Tuesday the villagers gather there to buy and sell their goods. The life of the village is simple but full of peace. In the morning, the farmers go to the fields, the students go to school, and the housewives cook in their kitchens. In the evening, the old people sit under the banyan tree and talk about the day, while the young boys and girls play in the field. My village has some problems too. The roads become muddy in the rainy season, and there is no electricity in some remote areas. Still, the village is free from the noise, smoke, and tension of the town. The village is the soul of Bangladesh, and I am proud of my village. Whenever I think of home, I see the green fields, the river, and the smiling faces of the villagers, and my heart fills with love for the place where I was born.
